ED's MORNING ROUTINE
STEP 1
Every morning I take 10 minutes to journal. I write down what I am grateful for, what I will attract in my life for the day, a list of affirmations and actions. Personal care and confidence starts from within.
STEP 2
I then start my skincare with a shot of real caffeinated goodness to wake my skin. Our MORNING COFFEE is designed to be used morning, night, or both. For a gentle cleanse, wet your face and hands before applying. For a deep scrub, apply to your dry face.
STEP 3
I then use a toner to bring my PH level in my skin back to normal. I am currently using a rice toner. I then layer next with DAY DRIN-C, our 2 in 1 vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum. I then seal in my serum with a layer of DAY HYDRATE moisturiser.
STEP 4
Before I move into my makeup I finish with a face SPF. I rotate between a couple of favourites. After my makeup I set my make up with QUICK FLICK SPF 50 sunscreen and setting spray. I keep this spray in my handbag and top up every 2-3 hours.
STEP 5
The best time for me to hydrate my body is immediately after the shower while my skin is still hot and soft. This is when I apply SKIN COAT and a top layer of AFTER body oil to my body.
STEP 6
With breakfast I take 2 capsules of SKIN WITHIN and 2 capsules of GUT WITHIN. After all, skin health starts from within.
Evening Routine
STEP 1
Before jumping in the shower, I lather my body completely by scrubbing BEFORE onto my dry skin. I’ll leave this for a couple minutes before jumping in the shower to rinse. I then use MORNING COFFEE after wetting my face and hands for a gentle cleanse.
STEP 2
Once out of the shower, I pat dry my body before applying SKIN COAT on my body. I then rewet my face with a mist to start my skin care routine. I start with a toner and then a layer of SKIN COAT.
STEP 3
I then move to NIGHT CAP. Applying skincare to wet skin helps products absorb more easily into the skin. When products are applied to dry skin, it becomes much harder to penetrate through the skin's barrier. When applied to damp skin, on the other hand, moisture is trapped into the skin, increasing the effects of your products, If you have sensitive skin i wouldn't recommend this.
STEP 4
then finish my skin care routine by applying DAY HYDRATE. Vit A can be drying on the skin, so sandwiching NIGHT CAP between SKIN COAT and DAY HYDRATE works wonders to keep your skin hydrated.
STEP 5
I then apply ALWAYS buttery balm to my body immediately after the shower, avoiding my face. This finishes my day on a hydrating high.
STEP 6
To finish my routine, I layer on my body AFTER oil to not only give extra hydration for the skin, but to help with my nightly body GUA SHA routine. Doing 5-10 minutes of this each night helps with your lymphatic flow, moving toxins, increase blood flow through the body, fight stubborn fat and the appearance of cellulite and move any inflammation throughout your body.
