Since working with The Stroke Foundation we have raised $28,345.
"It's wonderful to know that ed&i has the support of so many. Supporting local, but also in a greater cause. A Stroke is indeed a serious issue, resulting in New Zealand's second single biggest killer and a leading cause of serious adult disability.
It is important that we give back. Even those who may not have thought they could give back in a significant way are able to do so through our collective efforts. It's important to continue supporting causes that are underfunded and working together as a community to make a difference.
the loss of my mother
For over 11 years I have parked the passing of my mother to one side refusing to speak or think about the 3 years leading up to her death. This in turn closed any reflections about her, even the good. Over the past 12 months, I have now revisited the trauma, hurt and memories and in turn found a personal responsibility to help others who share in this journey.

take action call 111
The F.A.S.T. campaign encourages everyone to learn the key signs of stroke and to think F.A.S.T., act fast and look out for each other by calling 111 if they suspect a stroke. Prompt action can save lives - as well as improve recovery.
